01. Space Center Houston
The official visitor center of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center—the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) center for human spaceflight activities.

02. Museum of Natural Science
A science museum established in 1909. One of the most popular in the US. The popularity is attributed to its large number of special or guest exhibits.

03. Houston Zoo
A 55-acre (22 ha) zoological park. Houses over 6,000 animals as a part of over 900 species. The tenth most visited zoo in the United States.

04. Downtown Aquarium

A water park opened in 1984. Operates from May till September. Occupies an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2). Has 2 pools, 9 water slides and 2 children’s areas.

10. Market Square Park
A public park in Downtown. It is a central feature of the Main Street/Market Square Historic District. Donated to the city in 1854 by Augustus Allen and used as an open air produce market.
